Skin Rejuvenation Treatment Options
To be able to address all the skin concerns of our patients we are offering a variety of skin rejuvenation treatments and procedures:
- Home Skin Care – excellent skin care is achieved through an ongoing skin regimen. Our skin care program that can be done in the comfort of your own home will ensure that your skin is taken care of even after you leave our office.
- Laser skin treatments – There are a variety of lasers used to rejuvenate skin. Each type of laser has its own benefits and works best for certain skin conditions. Laser skin treatments have significant benefits in that they decrease discomfort, bruising, and bleeding. Your surgeon will discuss which laser can best deliver the results that you wish to achieve.
- Peels – chemical peels are an effective skin resurfacing procedure in removing old tired skin that also triggers the production of new and healthy skin. Peels can be used to rejuvenate the skin and it can also be used to treat acne, lines and wrinkles, skin discoloration, sun damage, as well as pre-cancerous skin problems. The strength of each chemical peel is tailored to the patient’s skin. Chemical peels may also be covered by insurance if they are performed for medical reasons rather than cosmetic.
- Dermabrasion and CO2 laser – these are more aggressive skin resurfacing techniques that remove not only the surface layer but penetrate the deeper layer of the skin as well. This works best for treating deeper wrinkles and scars.
